Shipping policy

Every Mail Club envelope is posted from our office in Tokyo by Japan Post international letter-post. Postage is included in the price. You will never be charged for shipping, anywhere in the world.

Envelopes go out in the first week of each month. When you subscribe, your first paid envelope goes out with the next monthly posting. If we still have copies of the current issue, we will pop one in the post for you as a welcome bonus, at no charge. After that, you are on the monthly cycle.

Delivery usually takes 2 to 3 weeks — often less within East Asia, and occasionally longer to Africa and South America. Letter-post is not tracked, so we cannot give you a tracking number or tell you where an envelope is in transit.

Because it travels as a letter rather than a parcel, it arrives with your ordinary post and needs no signature.

If an envelope has not arrived 30 days after we posted it, email info@bungumail.club and we will send a replacement, free.

We post to every country Japan Post serves. A small number of destinations are not available to us, so if you cannot complete checkout from your country, that is the reason.
